Zodiac & The Garden: I’m Losing Myself

Feeling a little melancholy tonight so I’ll skip the cutesie blog-speak and get down to the details. The Taurus round of Zodiac has begun and runs through May 15th and features some incredible creations such as this dress by Lassitude & Ennui and the poses by !Bang.

Also, don’t forget The Garden, this month’s theme is English Tea Party and Isla from Cheeky Pea really brought her A-game with this whimsical garden set.

I can’t go without mentioning the Taurus skin from Essences available now only at Zodiac. With each release I fall in love with Essences skins just a little more, and this is no exception.

The Pisces Round of Zodiac is Here!

Just when you thought it was safe to put your pocketbook away! The new round of Zodiac is here and let me tell you, the creators have really come through with some nice stuff!

aDORKable released a new set of poses especially for the Pisces round called Melancholy.

They’re my favorite pose set right now. I blogged some more of these sweet poses over at the Hottie Cooterati blog, hop on over and check it out!

I also broke down and picked up the newest Mesh Hybrid Head from Logo. I think she’s adorable and I’ll really enjoy using the expressions for photos. I’m hoping in the future they’ll expand their add-on packs with different shading options to give them more options for individualized looks.

Hiding in the Darkness We Are About to Become – Unhinged.

Unhinged has begun. What is Unhinged? In short, Unhinged is a Gacha Fair event to save Eku Zhong’s head. Literally.

For more information on Unhinged and it’s reason for being, read the heartfelt letter from one of her dear friends. It’s another beautiful instance where SL’s community comes together to take care of one of their own.

Here are a few items that you can find!

Sakide’s Gacha contains 4 sets of this incredibly cute Skully dress (above). Each gacha will come with two dresses; Black/Teal, Gray/Red, Blue/Olive or Pink/Purple.

Misty Harley has a cool cane with poses (as seen above) as well as dagger poses for sale with proceeds going to the event.

Pin Me Down’s Gacha will contain some seriously cool skully eyelashes. You heard me, eyelashes. They are amazing and you will need to have them all. The skin I’m wearing beneath the PMD lashes and eye tattoos is also available at Unhinged from Your Skin & Your Shape and is just beautiful. I’m sure I’ll be wearing it in future posts where you can see it more clearly.

And let’s not forget these completely gorgeous Sugar Skull boots from Lassitude & Ennui. The Gacha machine has them in 7 different colors! You know you want ‘em!

Honestly there are so many cool things, I’m a bit overwhelmed right now so once I get MY head on straight, I will bring you more goodies! *flails*

Fashionable and Versatile Second Life Fashion!

J.H. Couture has really brought her A-Game to the table. I have yet to see leather texturing as realistic as her latest leather jacket and skirt combo. Especially the skirt. It looks like that expensive soft leather with the heavy threading and I am never taking it off. Ok, I will take it off once it starts to smell… but ONLY then! *winks*

In the first outfit, I paired the J.H. Couture Lori Leather Skrit with one of the beautiful Ashima blouses from Zaara. The elegance of the blouse gives the outfit a classy, stylish look, and it happens to be available right now at Zaara’s location in CINEMA. It’s still going on, but hurry because it ends on the 27th and there is much awesomeness to be had!

In this next outfit I paired the same skirt with one of the sexy leather jackets, also from J.H. Couture. Underneath I added a playful leopard camisole from Grasp to give the outfit an edgier look. The jewelry on this one is from Maxi Gossamer, and kicks the sassiness up a notch, I think.

On both outfits I’ve worn the simply-freaking-gorgeous Selene boots from Lassitude & Ennui. I’m going to pretend they’re named after me. *grins* Not gonna lie, these are probably my favorite finds right now. They’re also available at CINEMA.
