Happy Sunday everyone! I wanted to bring you a few more goodies from Monochrome Hunts Silver Lining Hunt today and I chose a beautiful prop/pose set from the equally as lovely Luna Jubilee of !Bang to show them off!

The beautifully knitted poncho is from ATTIC. I just discovered ATTIC on this hunt and I will definitely be back. That’s the thing I love about hunts, you discover stores you might not have found otherwise! The pants are from NuDoLu and they are uber adorable. I love the texturing, you can almost feel it! Both of these items are available for just 5L in the Silver Lining Hunt. The pose chair is the !bang – comfy chair and it’s absolutely gorgeous. The chair contains 8 poses, so I’m sure you’ll be seeing a lot more of it on my blog!

Better Late than Never: Inspire Me – As Time Goes By

I truly have been a slacker this week when it comes to using the very prompts that I’ve written for [SL] Blogger Support’s Inspire Me initiative. I was pretty much going to let the week slide by without using one, until Keliah Angelis of Picture This! decided to put out a set of time telling poses that just happened to compliment some other photos I took earlier in the week, and I’ve used them to create a little story!

I really seem to be at a loss for words lately. For some reason I sit down to write, and the words just won’t come. However, I still feel the inspiration to take photos and visually share what is going through my mind.

I hope you all aren’t disappointed in my lack of writing these days. But, it is what it is.

Today I’m sharing with you a beautifully sleek black dress by Haste that is available until October 31st at the CINEMA event. The skin I’m wearing is Izzie’s offering for the Costume Ball event hosted by The Ego Co. it’s a wicked version of her new FuYu skin (which I LOVE LOVE LOVE). The skin came with an assortment of dark and devious lipsticks and lip glosses.

This past week Anymore released their version of Sugar Skull face tattoos to celebrate Día de losMuertos, or the day of the dead.

CINEMA: Mr. Senator’s Transgression and Repentance

Today’s post is focused purely on two awesome poses I discovered at Cinema 2012. Being a movie buff myself, as I was taking the photos and discussing them with one of my friends, the story of “Mr. Senator” was born.

This hot pose by Bounce This called Yield, featured at Cinema 2012. I wanted to do something a little different from the other photos I’ve seen with this pose, so I went for a contrast of innocence and corruption. I asked Jake to take on the role of “Mr. Senator”  and I was channeling the young intern “Ali” being called out of her house for an emergency “meeting.”  Seems like she’ll be tied up for a while. ‘Eh, see what I did there?

In this next frame, it seems that the Senator’s transgressions have been discovered and his perfectly coiffed trophy wife, “Brenda” looks more than a little unimpressed with his apology. Perhaps she should go Lorena Bobbit on his butt? The pose is by the fantabulous Adorkable Peapod and is called Surrender.

Cinema 2012 has begun in earnest. The event is chock full of incredible goodies, including a boat load of SL’s best pose makers and creators. The photos below were taken with Evolve’s Invocation pose and prop set, an exclusive for the Cinema event. You couldn’t get me within a country mile of a Ouija bord in RL, but I figured it was safe enough in pixel form.
