Also wanted to let you guys know (if you didn’t already) that there is a cool charity event going on right now called Catnip Carnival by Avatars for Animals. It was organized by Harlow Heslop, who just happens to be an amazing advocate for neglected animals. All the proceeds from this benefit will go to River Cities Humane Society for Cats. It’s a worthy cause to help save some of our furry friends, don’t you think? The Gos Lolita Espadrilles in these photos is just one of the awesome items available. Sophisticated Adventures

I’ll admit I’m always a bit late to the party, and exploring the new sophisticated Adult type sims that have been popping up on Second Life lately are no exception. Last night my new girlie friends Skylar and Autumn of Constellations, Maci of Lil Miss Fashion Cupcake and Bean of Serene Cadence, all decided we needed to get off of our platforms and have a little fun.

Skylar recommended we hang out at The Chambers. Which, after much convincing, shopping and primping, we did. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I had this vision of walking into a pick-up joint and having to play defense against Butabi Brother look-alikes in shiny shirts all night and it wasn’t like that at all. Everyone was very fashionably dressed, the men in suits or tuxes an the ladies in various evening attire. The nicest part was that most everyone was very polite when they approached me, even when it was clear I was going to share nothing more than a pleasant conversation with them.

This morning I took a trip over the another new Adult hot spot called The Library. It was just as impressive in design and I was able to snap a photo while hiding in one of the book stacks. I think I may try to convince the girls to check this place out some evening this week when festivities are in full swing.
