Atooly Falling Into the Season Hunt Starts Tomorrow!

Atooly is hosting the Falling Into the Season Hunt! The hunt begins November 5th and runs through November 23rd, and is centered around the theme of Autumn. I wanted to share a few of the goodies you can find!

The gift below is the Falling Into Autumn pose from Picture Me Pretty(#16). I just love this pose, it’s so fun and I was fortunate to take this photo with the creator herself!

The super cute outfit below is the hunt gift from Leri Mills Designs (#22). It includes the mesh jacket, skirt and a system camisole. Click through to see the detail on the jacket, it’s really quite cute!

The dress below is the hunt gift from Relia. You can’t see it here but the back has a really cute cutout too!It’s adorbs! (Ugh, yeah… I really did just say that, shoot me now.)

XY Room Time Again!

As I’ve said before, I love Autumn. It’s without a doubt my favorite-est season in real life, and Second Life! In the Fall Second Life Fashion turns to warm colors, snuggly layers and a host of yummy “keep-me-warm” accessories.

Today’s outfit is a combo with an adorable jumper from Liv-Glam and a cozy knit turtleneck from [NN] -Designs. (Yeah Tiggy, I’m wearing a turtleneck and I’m proud of it!! ) and I picked up a fatpack of these INDI Knit Tights because tights are my Fall/Winter accessory obsession! I also have to mention this sweet, sweet skin from Curves Shapes and Skins. I love the innocence! This is my first skin from this shop, but I will definitely be a repeat customer!

I am trying to learn different pretty techniques with my photos so y’all don’t get bored with me. Lately I’ve been playing with Depth of Field, but during post processing, not inworld. I still have a lot to learn, but I’m having a ton of fun along the way!

The Scary Side of Second Life Fashion

I was out shopping the other day, dressed to the nine’s in my new J.H. Couture Nadine dress, when it appears I took a wrong turn down a very scary alley.

All of a sudden the sun got a little dimmer, and the alley got a lot quieter. A light mist began dusting the grungy road beneath my suede L’Aph heels. I stopped, and listened to the wind howl and felt a shiver creep up my spine.

Where Am I Going?

The past two years have been a tumultuous rollercoaster in my RL. I have the scars to prove it, and I wear them proudly. I’ve survived. A few months ago I started a new chapter in my life, and like most new beginnings, I went in with the optimism of a child, all smiles and good intentions. Then things get hard and you have to make a choice. Throw in the towel or tough it out and be persistent and make the adjustments necessary to make your situation a success. That’s real life.

But what about my Second Life? As my real life changes, I find my SL time becoming less and less, but all the more precious to me because it’s not unlimited any longer. I find myself struggling to do all the things I want to do, while keeping everyone else happy too. I wish I could find a balance, but I’m one of those people that lives by extremes. I’m either all in, or I’m out. It’s the way I’m built. So I’ve been pondering all this crazy stuff in my head, and actually losing sleep over it. Crazy, no?

So, this morning at 4:30 am, after tossing and turning most of the night, I logged in, slipped into my warm Cardigan and Jeans from J.H. Couture, and enjoyed a few precious morning moments on my new homeland to just stretch, and breathe and regroup. I need to figure out where I’m going from here…

All This Talk About Pandas!

So much talk about Pandas! From the new WoW Mists of Pandaria, to the cute Panda Hamsters from the Arcade Event, and then the sad death of the cute baby Panda born just last week, I thought this was the appropriate time to post this little ensemble as a tribute to Pandas everywhere!

I love Severed Garden‘s outfits. Each and every one of them and this one is no exception. The Pam ensemble comes complete with ears, outfit, face tattoo and hoofs! You can also tell that I am loving my new Soft ‘do’ from [e]. Two blogs posts in a row with it, and I’m still not sick of it yet!

You Heard Me, I’m an L’APH Girl

Sorry I’ve been neglecting you all. I had a death in the family and was out of town for a bit, but I am back and ready to blog. Have I told you how much I missed you?? Well, I did. So MUAHS! Now, to the goodies!

For the last month or so, I’ve been keeping tabs on designer Aphrodite Outlander. You see, I follow her on Plurk and she has been posting W.I.P (that’s “work in progress”) photos on her Plurk timeline, teasing us with visions of high quality, luxurious women’s apparel. I was so excited when she finally opened L’APH and I was able to slip into her garments! (Get your mind out of the gutter, will you!)

Take the gorgeous Eva dress, for instance. Completely va-va-voom, yet still incredibly classic and elegant. The dress is available in 12 colors, but I chose the black dress to set off my new hair from [e]! I paired the classy frock with red mesh leather heels, also from L’APH, and a cute as a button clutch from Izzie’s.

In this photo you can definitely glimpse the va-va-voooom of this outfit! The very detailed cleavage of my gorgeous Faith skin from Izzie’s gives the smexy factor a little boost. Have I told you how much I love this skin? I’m sure I have, but I’m going to tell you again. I love everything about it, from the breast shading options (cleavage and regular), and the freckle tattoos to the different eyebrow selections. She really did think of everything. Just above my luscious bosom is Maxi Gossamer’s Marrakesh Heart necklace. It’s no secret that I’m a Maxi stalker, I’m pretty sure there’s a restraining order out there somewhere with my name on it. But anyways, you can get this lovely little heart, with all of its exotic detail, at Collabor88!
