I’m late, I’m late! But at least I’ve come up with something for this week. The clouds are lifting and I am beginning to get into the creative mood again!

I decided to have a little fun this week and make my very hard working Malt, Ian, a super-special strawberry shake! Don’t I look proud?

In my over-excitement it seems I became a bit clumsy! It’s a good thing I’m wearing my Sweetheart Lingerie set from Mon Cheri. He can’t stay mad at me when I look so cute, right?

I’m also wearing the newest skin from Izzie’s called Harlow. After her Ginevra release, I thought I had found my “go-to” skin for sure. But, but, but… THEN she released Harlow and I think I’m in love. It will be a while before I pry this one off of my body. I accented the vintage look with some cat-eye eyeliner from Panda Punx and this cute pin-up style ‘do from Truth.

Meet my mALT: Ian and I Playing in the ATTIC.

You may or may not know that I have been putting together a mALT (that is a malt alt) for the past few weeks or so. I had a heck of a time trying to get his shape right but I think I did ok! Some of my friends are wondering why on earth I need a mALT, when I have Jake. Well, sometimes Jake just doesn’t feel like being “Fashion Ken” to my “Pixel Barbie”, and I get that.  So now, there is Ian.  Be kind to him ladies, he’s a little nervous and a whole lot shy!

Meet My mALT

With the increasingly high quality of male clothing in the Second Life Fashion world, I’m beyond excited to be able to showcase men’s clothes as well!

Today Ian and I are both wearing pieces from ATTIC. Specifically, my dress and Ian’s oh-so sexy-jeans. You might remember me blogging about ATTIC a few weeks ago during the Silver Lining Hunt. I love discovering shops that are new to me and hunts are the perfect way to do that! Ian’s jacket is a goodie from Razorblade Jacket that is available at the Winter Fair. The Winter Fair ends on teh 15th, so hurry over and get your fill! I’ll be bringing you some more hunt goodies soon from the Atooly Hunting for Winter Hunt which started today!

I truly have been a slacker this week when it comes to using the very prompts that I’ve written for [SL] Blogger Support’s Inspire Me initiative. I was pretty much going to let the week slide by without using one, until Keliah Angelis of Picture This! decided to put out a set of time telling poses that just happened to compliment some other photos I took earlier in the week, and I’ve used them to create a little story!

Fly Me! Fly Me!

“Fly me!” I said. “Are you sure?” he said. “Yes, yes, doooo eeeet!” I cried with all of the impulsive nature of a child. All of my more endearing child-like tendancies got the best of me today, as Jake and I enjoyed the last few weekends of summer at the beach. “Fly me!” I said. So he did!

Thank goodness he endures my many moods, and takes them all in stride. He also lets me play dress-up with him when I need a male model. He’s quite a catch don’t you think? So here’s a little “thank you” for being so wonderful. Thank you Jake, I <3 you!

The Gorean Man!

Shiloh has been kicking me lately with her stilettos (quite hard, I might add!), trying to motivate me to put up another post on what’s trending in Second Life fashion for role playing gear. Well, I suppose you could say I’ve been a bit sidetracked.

That said, let me introduce you to my distraction. And what an amazing distraction he is! This blogger is hooked! Sculpted hook, role play emote paragraph, and mesh sinker! Ah, that was corny, but sometimes I just can’t help it! I’m a naturally corny girl.

Do I even have to bring your attention to the fact that Jareth is quite the hottie? Not to mention probably one of the best role players I’ve ever met! It’s only icing on the cake that he definitely has his finger on the pulse of Second Life fashion for role players as well. I’m such a lucky girl to get to role play with him.

ImageDown to business! Jareth is sporting a new Gorean (also easily Medieval or Game of Thrones) role play outfit. The detail on it is very nice, as shown by the two sample images below. One is a pouch held on the belt, the other is the buckle on the boots that came with the outfit. Granted, the outfit was almost 900L! It should come with the boots, and perhaps the kitchen sink too at that price. The one thing I couldn’t tell if it was my PC or if it was the outfit, was that the flaps of fabric underneath of the belt appeared darker than the top portion, as viewable on the last attached picture. (My Second Life fashion OCD is showing a little, eh?)

It could be worse! I could be committing grave sins against pixelated fashion, and then where would I be in life? There! Some sarcastic commentary added, just for my viewers who prefer not to go into sugar comas when reading blogs!

For those of you with some Gorean experience, you will note that Jareth’s character focus is a Torvaldslander blacksmith. This outfit is an excellent fit with that character. As always, the pictures are left unedited to ensure best representation of the items blogged.
